THERMAL BONDING: BEGINNERS

COURSE CODE: A1/ DURATION: 2 Day

COST: £499.00

Thermal Bonding or Micro Bonding is the most traditional European application method. A special glue- gun or pot is used to melt down resin, the resin is ten used to apply hair extension strands or pre-bonded keratin extensions strands or pre-bonded keratin extensions to clients own hair. Thermal Bonding is great for overall length and volume or simply to give highlights to natural hair. This type of extension can be worn for up to three months and should be removed then replaces, to preserve the conditions of the natural hair.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

This 2-day course is designed for professional new to thermal bonding. By the end of the course you will be confident in your ability to apply and remove hair extensions. To conduct a full consultation with your client before application.

On completion of the course you should be able to conduct a full client consultation; be able to price your services correctly; Order hair in correct amounts, style and color; offer your client complete advice and guidance; and how to safely remove bonded extensions.

MICRO RING EXTENSIONS

COURSE CODE: A2 DURATION 1 DAY

Glue and resin free methods of application are important to ecologically aware
Clients who want an extension solution that is essentially natural. As a result, bonding Micro ring and other green methods are increasingly popular. With a similar look and finish achieved by thermal bonding techniques but without the resin, the micro ring extension can be used to add overall length and volume or simply highlight natural hair. They can be worn for two to three months after which it is advised that clients return to their technician to have them removed professionally to ensure their natural hair is kept in best condition.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

By the end of this one-day course students should be competent in using Micro Ring to seal loose hair to natural hair application tools including a Latch Hook and Pliers. They should understand the difference between types of hair extensions and be able to conduct an in-depth consultation, correctly order hair and price services. Student should be able to advise clients on how to best care for and maintain their extensions over the duration of their wear.

PLAITS AND BRAIDS

COURSE CODE A3: DURATION: 2 DAYS

For technicians that have an interest in learning creative braiding techniques, this course covers a verity of design and Braiding pattern. Participants will also learn how to add fiber hair to create length and durability for better results.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

By the end of this two-day course students should be competent in the following braiding techniques:

• Three way Box Plaits & Box Plaits
• Single plaits
• Cornrows
• Adding Fiber to Plaits & Cornrows

By the end of this course student should be competent in pricing clients, perform client consultations, and be able to advise clients on how to best care for braids.

TEMPORARY ATTACHMENT

COURSE CODE: A4: DURATION 1 DAY

Offering high profits, cost-effective solutions that are great confidence builders for both stylist and clients, you will find these methods perfect for special occasions. They are greatly used in TV, Film, Theatre, Catalogue and Catwalk models.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

By the end of this course student should be competent in applying and removing extensions using three different temporary attachment methods:

METHOD 1: COLD BONDING

Strips of weft are cut to size and then painted with a cold adhesive and applied directly on to the client’s natural hair.

METHOD 2: QUICKSTICK

A Quick stick adhesive strip is also applied to the hair weft and placed directly onto client’s natural hair.

METHOD 3:

A very simple but effective instant transformation with clip-in extensions that technicians can sell to clients over the counter for styling within the salon or at home.

Students will be able to undertake a consultation with their clients, order hair, quote prices for their services, and advise clients on how to best care for their extensions.

SEW ON WEAVING: BEGINNERS

COURSE CODE A5: DURATION 2 DAYS

Length and volume by applying extensions weft to the client’s natural hair. Weaving is a safe technique that even protects the client’s natural hair as it grows. There are several methods of attaching weaves, the most popular method is the cornrow method, however this will be determined after assessing the clients needs through consultation.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

Students are taught how to cornrow hair to create a durable weave base on which strips of hair weft can be added. Successful completion means that students will be competent in the different cornrow styles, create a weave base and understand when different methods are appropriate. They should recognize different types of fibre hair and weaving needles and be able to safely apply hair wefts by sewing.
Students should demonstrate a clear understanding of different hair wefts and be able to perform a consultation to determine the optimum appropriate weave for the client and advise them on after care maintance.

SEW ON WEAVING: ADVANCED

COURSE CODE: A6 DURATION: 1 DAY

This course is designed specifically for students that are competent in sew-on weaving and teaches advanced techniques of applying wefts to natural hair such as covering bald patches creating undetectable weave, create highlight and lowlights. And also the use of hair replacement units, weaving nets or closure units.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

For experienced technicians with sufficient knowledge and practice of creating different corn-row bases for applying hair weft-by the end of course students should be able to work with different application tools such as new weave, Hair replacement units, Closure units and demonstrate a clear understanding of specialist techniques

 

DREADLOCKS FOUNDATION COURSE

Dreadlocks foundation course

Students will learn dreadlocks application creating dreads. Students will learn various methods on creating natural dreadlocks training in sectioning, dreads, twisting methods, roll and palm roll. Students will be trained to lock the hair, backcomb, wax and twist creating and shaping unique dreadlocks.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

Students will be taught how to conduct a consultation, create dreaded locks. Student will be able to conduct after care advice, a full knowledge on products. Students can re-twist dreads and demonstrate full dreadlocks application.

LACE FRONT WIG TRANING

COURSE: A8: DURATION 2 DAY
